What should I pray for?

Here are a list of 10 items that each of us as Christians should pray for:

1) The lost/unsaved – anyone who hasn’t accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior

2) The President, Vice-President, Cabinet and Congress.  See www.PresidentialPrayerTeam.org for specific names.

3) Leaders of your state and of your community.

4) Your church, your Pastor and other church leaders.

5) All Spiritual leaders worldwide.

6) Our country.

7) Peace in the world.

8) We are in a spiritual warfare so pray for the armor of God as written by Paul in Ephesians 6.

9) God places in each of our hearts specific areas that are known only to us to pray for (such as single parents, the youth, persecuted Christians worldwide.)

10) Yourself – to be obedient to God, pray against anything that separates you from God.

“Pray for all people, asking God for what they need and being thankful to him.  Pray for all rulers and for all who have authority so that we can have quiet and peaceful lives full of worship and respect for God.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2
